Community Relations Assistant--Camphill Ghent

COMMUNITY RELATIONS ASSISTANT

PART-TIME 20 HOURS/WEEK FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

We are seeking a community relations assistant to assist the Community Relations Officer in sending press and media releases, calendar listings, create and update social media, perform prospect research, assist with event planning and obtain sponsors. Strong interpersonal, writing, create and organizational skills are required.

LPN Position Opening for Foot Care

Camphill Village, USA, Inc. is a working community with adults with special needs and is licensed by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.  We are seeking a part-time, 8-10 hour per week, LPN to provide regular foot care to our residents.

The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter and will focus on the health and medical needs of the feet.  Familiarity with anthroposophy is a real plus as is past history of working with individuals with development disabilities.

Assistant Seed Garden Manager

Camphill Village, USA, Inc. is a working community with adults with special needs and is licensed by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.  We are seeking a full-time Assistant Seed Garden Manager to co-manage our biodynamic seed garden, which is a part of the Turtle Tree Seed business.  The interested candidate will work in the gardens as well as assist in the work shop, and will help develop the annual catalog.

The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter and will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Past history of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus as is familiarity with anthroposophy.  The candidate must have a minimum of three years of horticultural experience in a biodynamic or organic setting, or two years of training.  A bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required. This position requires the physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
